2. Information We Handle
Purchases and Payments
We use Stripe Payment Links for software purchases. Payment information entered on Stripe’s checkout page is processed by Stripe; we do not provide a mechanism for card numbers to be entered directly into our website or applications. We handle transaction information made available to us by Stripe to the extent needed to confirm a transaction, provide a license, respond to inquiries, and maintain accounting records.
License Activation
Products that require license activation may use an external license-management service. In the current implementation of INT DCP Baker v1.0, the license key entered by the user and a product identifier are sent to Keygen to obtain an activation result. The app stores license information needed to display activation status locally on the user’s Mac, but does not store the entered license key itself. The current activation request does not send a hardware fingerprint for the Mac.
Trials, Settings, Logs, and Update Checks
Depending on the product, the Trial start and end dates, product settings, and license status may be stored locally on the user’s device. INT DCP Baker v1.0 stores application logs locally on the user’s Mac. Based on our review of the current implementation, those local logs are not automatically transmitted to Interceptor.
INT DCP Baker v1.0 checks for updates by retrieving a latest-version information file from our website. The current implementation does not attach diagnostic logs or information about a user’s selected DCP, folders, or media to that request.
Support Inquiries
If a user contacts us by email or another support channel, we handle the sender’s email address, name or organization, the inquiry itself, and any materials the user chooses to provide.
